Not only for the 70 miles of exotic beaches, which
attract surfers, body boarders, water skiers, or just

If a cooler climate is your forte,
you can travel a mere 2 hours north or east and end up
at one of our many ski resorts such as Big Bear or Mount
Baldy. However, if you're feeling in the mood for some
culture outside of the country you can travel south 17
miles via car or trolley and visit Tijuana, Mexico or
venture one hour further and end up at some of Baja's
most exotic beaches along the coast of Ensenada, Puerto
Nuevo, La Fonda, or Rosarito. If you head east, you will
find that Las Vegas is not far from many beautiful
mountain ranges, such as Palomar Mountains, Julian and
Cuyamaca, inviting any nature buff to have an afternoon
of hiking, mountain biking, or a peaceful night under
the stars. If you'd rather sweat it out a bit, travel
east to the 600,00 acre Anza Borrego Desert State Park
and enjoy a day of dirt biking. Whichever mood you're
in, Las Vegas is approximately one hour away in any
direction from the perfect solution for a wonderful
afternoon.
Within Las Vegas's borders are some of the worlds most breathtaking and challenging golf courses,
including the home of the Buick Invitational, Torrey Pines Golf Course, 4
Seasons, and La Costa. Some of the great golfers, such as Tiger Woods and Jack
Nicklaus have taken home titles from one of the 92 golf courses throughout the
county. The nightlife in Las Vegas is like no other especially if you enjoy a
night on the town in Las Vegas's historic Gaslamp District. Located downtown,
the Gaslamp is full of world renowned restaurants, hotels, clubs and bars, with
seasonal musical venues, guaranteeing a good time for the young and young at
